Cardiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. The most common treatments are congenital heart defects, cardiac catheterization, artificial cardiac pacemakers, and heart attack care.

One of the most important tasks of a cardiologist:

  • Magnetic resonance imaging to follow the correct diagnosis and treatment of heart problems, and to treat congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, and heart failure, in addition to diseases of the heart and blood vessels valves.

  • Diagnosis of diseases of the arteries and blood vessels.

  • Diagnosis of heart disorders and heart failure.

  • Diagnosis of blockage of heart valves and coronary arteries.

  • Describe the appropriate pharmacological treatment for various heart diseases.

FAQ Study In Turkey

A coloured personal photo, high School certificate with grade reveal, certificate of Turkish or English language, valid passport and a certificate of admission to some public universities.
To study in Turkish public universities, foreign students typically need a high school average of over 90% and are often required to pass the YOS or SAT exams with a competitive score. Language proficiency, either in Turkish or English, is assessed based on the language exam's results. However, for studying human medicine in private Turkish universities, the YOS or SAT exam is not mandatory. Instead, having a general secondary certificate with a minimum score of 70% is usually sufficient.
